Activity Coordinator

Overview


The Activity Coordinator designs and leads engaging daily programs that promote cognitive, physical, and social wellbeing for participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan monthly activity calendars tailored to participant needs

  • Lead group and individual activities (arts, games, exercise, music, etc.)

  • Coordinate special events, guest speakers, and community outings

  • Track participation and adjust activities as needed

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience in activity planning for older adults or individuals with disabilities

  • Creative, energetic, and compassionate personality
